BRAZILIAN EXOTIC WOODS AND AWARD WINNING STRINGS FROM GIANNINI
Etros Music presented Giannini’s new, unique “Brazilian Exotic Woods Series” of classical and nylon acoustic-electric guitars at the Summer NAMM show along with Giannini’s award winning strings and other new products and upgrades.
The new Brazilian Exotic Woods Series are all-solid wood, with Red Cedar or Spruce tops, in combination with three unique exotic solid woods for the back and sides: Brazilian Pau Ferro (Machaerium Scleroxilon Tul), Brazilian Imbuia (Phoebe Porosa) and Brazilian Red Cabriuva (Myroxylon Balsamum). Prices are extremely competitive, ranging from around $800 to a little over $1,100 MSRP. For many decades Giannini has been a pioneer, experimenting and testing exotic woods in its instruments with excellent results. Each of these woods offers a distinctive and impressive sound as well as a unique appearance with a variety of beautiful colors and grain patterns.
