METHENY GROUP’S NEWEST MEMBER ENDORSES GIANNINI GUITARS
Nando Lauria is the newest member of The Pat Metheny
Group which is currently on an international mega tour. Right after graduating
from Berklee in 1988, Nando was invited to join The Pat Metheny Group
for a series of shows at the NightStage Club in Cambridge, Mass. That
was the beginning of a musical relationship that eventually resulted in
Nando becoming a permanent member of the group. As all members, Nando
is an accomplished, multi-talented musician who brings to the group his
unique Brazilian flavor as a singer as well as playing guitars, percussion,
flughorn and more.
Nando Lauria is continuing a tradition of a long list of great musicians
from Brazil and around the world that have endorsed and/or played Giannini
instruments and strings. From pioneers of the Bossa-Nova like Luis Bonfá,
Carlos Lyra and Roberto Menescal, the list also includes Toquinho, João
Bosco, Paulo Bellinati, Guinga and many others from Brazil, as well international
names like Jimmy Page, Jose Feliciano, Linda Perry, Jeff Linsky, Ben Sher,
David Newsam, Reggie Griffin and Babyface.
With more than 100 years of tradition and state of the art production
technology Giannini has always worked very closely with famous musicians
to develop and continuously improve their products. The results are instruments
famous for their unique Brazilian sound, rich in harmonics, mellow and
very well balanced. Giannini Guitars are “Crafted with a Brazilian
Soul” and the line includes a wide variety of acoustic and acoustic
electric models, from student guitars to all solid handcrafted instruments,

Rosewood back and sides, Ebony fingerboard, black and gold plated machine
heads with pearled buttons, and reinforced neck with adjustable truss
rod.

All-solid acoustic-electric 6-string, nylon, Craviola® with Fishman
Premium Blend stereo preamp with a gooseneck internal microphone. Solid
German Spruce top, solid aged Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, Ebony
fingerboard, black and gold plated machine heads with pearled buttons,
and reinforced neck with adjustable truss rod.
